Workflow

We begin the work of creating a finding aid by editing a document in Microsoft Word. This will be used for the creation of both the on-line finding aid and the printed version.

Mimicking the gross structure of a finding aid, we approach finding aid creation in two parts:

a Web form is used to create the "front matter";
a program run against the Microsoft Word file is used to create the inventory.
