Collection names should be established at the start of any project. This has the benefit that a collection name can be used wherever it is needed without the need for further discussion or the opportunity for inconsistencies to occur. What follows shows where collection names are used. When used in this way, collection names should be lower-cased; spaces should be replaced by hyphens.

Generating the above can be tedious and prone to error, so we write a shell script to do it. The script reads each of the collection names as given at the top of this page from a file called collectionnames as input, producing the above as output.
